I have long had a natural interest in both the aesthetic of, and story behind, our material past and as a child enjoyed everything from amateur archaeology at my grandfather’s 18th century farmhouse to scrounging abandoned railroads and mills for relics of the industrial revolution. I equally appreciate a rough forged implement and the finest 18th century porcelains, a make-do country desk and a high style French settee. Always dabbling, I have been a full time dealer since 1998 starting with Americana and collectables but branching out to be a generalist with a focus on supplying the Boston area decorating trade. I bring into the shop a wide assortment of finds whether picked from shops, auctions, or local estates.
